CUMBERLAND COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Cumberland County Planning Commission will meet on Monday, November 17, 2025, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Circuit Courtroom of Cumberland County in Cumberland, Virginia, to conduct public hearings pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2-2204, which such hearings may be continued or adjourned, as required under applicable law, and to consider the following items and taking actions in furtherance thereof:
Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 25-03: Arcola Towers for Verizon Wireless – A request to erect a 197’ monopole style Wireless Telecommunications Facility. The property is located near 913 Trents Mill Road, and is designated as Tax Map Parcel 39-A-8, a 72.38-acre parcel zoned A-2, Agricultural. The property is located just south of the Trents Mill/Hatcher Rural Crossroads, as designated in the Comprehensive Plan, and is within election district 2.
Copies of the proposed application are available for public review at the office of the Cumberland County Planning Department, County Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Circle, Cumberland, Virginia, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm on each business day. The public is invited to attend these hearings at which persons affected may appear and present their views orally or in writing.
