BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
PUBLIC HEARING
The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Circuit Courtroom of Cumberland County in Cumberland, Virginia, to conduct public hearings pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2-2204, which such hearings may be continued or adjourned, as required under applicable law, and to consider the following items and taking actions in furtherance thereof:
Code Amendment (CA) 24-02: Zoning Fee Amendments – Proposes to amend chapter 2, Section 2.3—Fees that relates to Planning and Zoning fees:
Sec. 2-3. Fees.
The following fees shall be applicable to chapter 34 "Environment," chapter 48 "Public Safety," chapter 54 "Subdivisions" and chapter 74 "Zoning":
(1) Preliminary plat review: $100.00 $150.00 plus $75.00 $100.00 per lot.
(2) Final plat review: $75.00 $100.00 plus $25.00 $50.00 per lot.
(3) Vacation of plat (major subdivisions): $150.00 $200.00.
(4) Sign permit review, $25.00. $50.00.
(5) Copy fees: $0.50 per page.
(6) Application for variance (BZA): $300.00. $400.00.
(7) Zoning permit: $10.00.

Copies of the complete text of the proposed Ordinance amendment are available for public review at the office of the Cumberland County Planning Department, County Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Circle, Cumberland, Virginia between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm of each business day. The public is invited to attend these hearings at which persons affected may appear and present their views orally or in writing.
