PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
The Cumberland County Planning Commission will meet on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Circuit Courtroom of Cumberland County in Cumberland, Virginia, to conduct a public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, to consider the following item and take action in furtherance thereof:
Energy Facilities Policy – to provide guidance for the siting development, operations and decommissioning of energy generating facilities in Cumberland County that require a Conditional Use Permit.
Copies of the Policy are available for public review at the office of the Cumberland County Administrator’s Office, County Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Circle, Cumberland, Virginia between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm of each business day. The public is invited to attend these hearings at which persons affected may appear and present their views orally or in writing.
