Access the Circuit Court Deed Calculation System.

Deed Book Recordings

Effective January 1, 2019, Virginia Land Record Cover Sheets will be required on all land and deed book recordings. Please generate a cover sheet using the Virginia Judicial System online tool.

The Cumberland Circuit Court Clerk’s Office has an Electronic Recording system available for deeds and land records.  We currently offer two vendors, CSC eRecording and Simplifile.

Secure Remote Access for Land Records

Secure remote access is available for land records beginning March 25, 1988. To register for access to the Records Management System (RMS), you can download and complete the RMS Subscriber Application (PDF).

Fees

Effective September 20,2021, RMS fees are as follows:

• 1. Individual User Account: $50 per month ($540 annually)
• 2. Multiple User Account: $250 per month (includes 5 users - $2940 annually)
